The Library is designed for learning with a parent or guardian in charge of the household account.
A teen may start a self-serve 7-day trial with limited AI and no card. A parent should upgrade to a household account for continued access. Under-13 learners should use a parent invite, not the open trial path.
A parent or legal guardian creates the household, invites learners, and controls plan and optional AI logging. Learners under 13 should only use The Library through a parent-managed invite.
Learners use a display alias (not required to be a real name). Optional age band is coarse (e.g. 15–16) for curriculum hints only. We do not run behavioral advertising targeted at children.
Published student sites are sandboxed with content rules and rate limits. AI chat and build features follow plan limits. Coach chat may suggest edits; teens preview changes before applying. Parents can disable optional AI logging in settings.
When a learner publishes an app, friends may submit names or messages through built-in forms. Teach learners not to share passwords, home addresses, or phone numbers in published projects. Parents should review live URLs before sharing widely.
The Studio build agent automates several safe steps (sync workspace, read files, generate, mirror back). It is not unsupervised access to the internet. Learners should review the preview and trace before publishing.
